MedVyra respects the work and the rights of the educators, institutions, authors and publishers whose material appears in medical education. This page explains how the site uses third-party material, and how to have that material removed quickly if you would prefer it not to be here.

How MedVyra works

MedVyra is a free, non-commercial study aid. It gathers educational material — questions, options, explanations, topic lists and embedded videos — that is otherwise scattered across the public internet, and arranges it into a convenient, searchable form for students preparing for medical examinations. MedVyra does not claim ownership of this material. It is a compilation, not a publisher.

What MedVyra hosts and what it does not

• Videos are not hosted here. Video content is embedded from third-party platforms such as YouTube and plays from those platforms. MedVyra does not upload, store, mirror, or re-host video files.
• Question and explanation material is educational reference material collected for study, believed to be publicly available and widely circulated for learning.
• Images and figures are used for educational illustration within the study material.
• MedVyra does not charge for any of this, does not sell access, and does not use the material to generate revenue.

Our position on ownership

MedVyra expressly disclaims ownership of any third-party questions, explanations, images, videos, names, logos or trade marks that appear on the site. All such rights belong to their respective owners. Where MedVyra refers to a source, educator, institution or examination, it does so for identification and educational context only — this is not an endorsement of MedVyra by them, nor a claim of any association with them.

Removal requests — our promise

If you are a rights-holder, or you represent one, and you would like any material on MedVyra to be removed, modified, or attributed differently, we will act promptly, respectfully, and in good faith. You do not need to escalate anything or make formal demands; a clear message is enough. Our commitment is simple: if you ask, and you are entitled to ask, we remove it.

How to ask

Write to us with whatever of the following you can provide — the more we have, the faster we can act:

• Your name and a way to contact you (email is enough).
• The material you are concerned about, identified as specifically as you can (a topic name, question text, or the page URL).
• A short statement of the basis on which you are entitled to make the request — for example, that you own the copyright, or that you represent the owner.
• What you would like us to do: remove it entirely, adjust the wording, add an attribution, or replace it with a link instead.

You do not need to use special wording or a particular form. A plain, specific request is perfectly fine.

What happens next

We aim to acknowledge every removal request quickly and to action clearly justified requests within a few days. Removal covers the material from the live site and from the source material our pages load from, so that it is no longer served to visitors. Where a specific item is removed, related references to it are removed as well.

Counter-consideration

Many educators generously allow their material to circulate for student learning. If your only concern is attribution or how something is described, rather than the fact it appears at all, tell us and we will gladly correct the attribution or description instead of removing it — whichever you prefer.

Co-operation, not confrontation

MedVyra exists to help students, not to profit from anyone. If the way students are taught and examined overlaps with your work, that is not a conflict we wish to have. We will always choose co-operation. Reach out through the contact details on the site and we will respond honestly and without argument.
